Ever wanted to try your hand at throwing pottery on the wheel? Come learn the essentials of wheel throwing in this 6-week course! This class is perfect for students who are new to wheel throwing or have little experience. Students will learn the whole pottery process - from throwing to trimming to glazing - to create some amazing pieces. Come throw, build, glaze, and create at After School Wheel Throwing!

Rachel Lemay (she/her) is an art and dance teacher based in Johnson, VT. Rachel received a Bachelor’s Degree in Art and Dance Education from NVU-Johnson in 2019, studying both art and dance as well as how to teach to students of all levels and abilities. A passion of Rachel’s is to reach every student in her classroom and make sure that all have access to personal creative expression and the arts. Most recently, Rachel was a Long Term Substitute Art Teacher at Hyde Park Elementary School, teaching throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. Rachel enjoys being outside, being active, and of course, making art!
