Come explore the world of fabric arts in this fun-filled course! Over the course of six classes, students will get to explore weaving, fabric dying, felting, paper making, and more! Students will learn the techniques of each craft as well as explore their own creativity through enriching projects. Come tie-dye, have fun, and get a little messy in fabric arts exploration!
Rachel Lemay (she/her) is an art and dance teacher based in Johnson, VT. Rachel received a Bachelor’s Degree in Art and Dance Education from NVU-Johnson in 2019, studying both art and dance as well as how to teach to students of all levels and abilities. A passion of Rachel’s is to reach every student in her classroom and make sure that all have access to personal creative expression and the arts. Most recently, Rachel was a Long Term Substitute Art Teacher at Hyde Park Elementary School, teaching throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. Rachel enjoys being outside, being active, and of course, making art!
