Wolf Whitney is a multi-disciplinary contemporary artist and sculptor. Her work focuses heavily on the influences of ritual and the natural world.
After leaving active duty in the U.S Army she moved to Vermont to pursue a simple life. Little did she know that this move would inspire her to start creating art. Surrounded by rolling fields and granite mountains, Wolf became enamored with the idea of creating by destroying—the duality of creation and her twin destruction. Sculpture in any material is simply the removal of pieces of raw material to recreate something beautiful.
