Creatures Camp? Bike the Arts? Sculptures on Bicycles?
We’re not sure what to name this camp, but it promises to be a fun week of summer camp with Bonnie Grover! Let your imagination take the lead in this weeklong camp exploring wearable sculptures and recreational fun on bicycles! Students will spend part of every day riding their bikes along the rail trail and enjoying the sunshine. Spend time each day working on creature characters. Each student will create a wearable head sculpture that will transform them into their creatures. Students will also collaborate to create a larger puppet that will ride a bike. On the last day of camp, students will help create a video of creatures spotted along the rail trail!

Bonnie is a lover of the arts, gardening and the mountains. Growing up in Miami, she attended the New World School of the Arts and earned her BS in Performance Studies from Northwestern University. Bonnie also has a Masters Degree in Elementary Education. She moved to Vermont in 1997 and became a member of the Bread & Puppet Theater as well as a freelance puppeteer in New England.
