Big & Messy Arts
River Arts’ Big & Messy Art Space is returning this fall. This weekly offering will take place on Tuesdays from 11-12, starting September 6th. Designed for families of children ages 2 and up, the BIG & Messy ART Space focuses on creativity and process. Families are invited to join in anytime within the scheduled “drop-in” window but are encouraged to arrive at least a half-hour before the end time. All materials, as well as smocks for kids and adults, will be provided. Remember to wear clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty, painted, or wet. $5 suggested donation.
Sarah Adelaide Hewitt (she/her) is native Vermonter who for many years to traveled the world with her sketchbooks. Sarah is an energetic, inspired, nature and children-loving individual and she loves to combine my passions for nature and art. She is a practicing artist, mother, arts educator, and budding herbalist. She has a painting degree from Rhode Island School of Design and is currently pursuing a master’s in art education from Northern Vermont University-Johnson.
