Featured Artist of the Month: Caroline McKinney

Every month we will feature one artist participating in the Virtual Open Studio Figure Drawing. November’s featured artist is Caroline McKinney. Read on for her artist statement, gallery of artwork, as well as work created from poses in the virtual class.

Artist Statement 

I have been drawing for a long time, but painting with watercolor is a relatively new adventure.

The River Arts Online Figure Drawing has been a life saver for me in the time of Covid. Something to look forward to each week. New challenges. Things I don’t know how to do. I have learned a lot and had a lot of fun doing it. And I love being able to see and share in what others have done. Thank you to River Arts and to Marie.
