Clay and Cooking Camp Recap!

Delicious food and muddy creations emerged from our first week of camp here at River Arts. In the morning, campers made spring rolls, cake, pie, and more while learning all about food prep and cooking with Kate.

In the afternoon, campers worked on all sorts of fun creations in the clay studio with Dylan. They learned the basics of throwing and design while creating their own projects ranging from vases to duck families and beyond! To cap off the day, campers played games and explored outside while enjoying the beautiful weather this week.

The best part of camp according to the campers was “cooking rhubarb pie”, “making stuff on the wheel”, “making and eating cake”, and of course “making new friends”!

With our first week of camp wrapping up we are excited about lots of tie-dye, printmaking, and art games at next week’s Messy Arts camp! There is still space available to join the Eco Arts and Sk8 the Arts camps later this summer, so don’t miss a great opportunity to make art and friends at these camps!
