Textile artist Natalie Carr will work with participants to explore and express themselves in this process based sewing class to create some one-of-a-kind works of art in sewing. Explore the endless options fabric and soft materials offer. From sewing, to handwork, to usable fabric tote bags, to a fabric wall hang and more. This class will spark creativity, guide new skills and encourage creative exploration in a way that calls to you.


Natalie Carr is a creative spirit who specializes in up-cycled soft sculpture and enjoys all forms of art, from coloring, to painting to clay and more. She loves the outdoors, talking, laughing and meeting new friends. She majored in illustration and art Ed. She is a full time artist and enjoys connecting with her community through art. She hopes to continue to encourage, foster and spark a love for creative self expressive exploration for kids and adults alike. Art can be healing, Art is powerful, art is playful, it keeps us young and it connects us all.
