About the Instructor | Denise Greene

Denise brings a well-rounded background to her career as a food educator and Integrative Nutrition Health Coach. At around age 8, she discovered her love of cooking and baking with her Mom, an adventurous cook. She was interested in culinary arts, and taught herself to cook a variety of American and ethnic dishes all utilizing whole foods from a big family garden. Cooking is a creative outlet and growing her own fresh food gets her outside in her own garden and in the community garden to help others grow beautiful food as well. Noticing how food has become so processed and the epidemic of dietary-related disease, Denise began studying health science, nutrition, and teaching cooking and health classes around Lamoille County. As a personal Health Coach, Denise leads workshops on a variety of cooking, food and health topics and she most enjoys getting people together around great food.
