Accessible Arts classes are thoughtfully crafted to deliver comprehensive instruction to students with diverse disabilities. Embracing a range of impairments, our classes offer a therapeutic setting for exploring various art forms. Led by our instructor, Ms. Karen, students are exposed to diverse painting styles, clay sculpting, and fiber arts such as origami, felting, and macramé, as well as card making. Our instructors and teaching assistants are well-versed in delivering tailored support, including personalized attention and additional assistance to accommodate sensory sensitivities. We extend a warm welcome to Caregivers or an accompanying guest, free of charge.

Karen is a dedicated educator with extensive experience in the school system, specializing in customizing and tailoring class lessons to meet the specific needs of each student. Over the years, she has worked closely with individuals of all ages, including those with diverse and exceptional abilities.

Karen is passionate about exploring alternative approaches to engage in various crafts, unlocking their therapeutic potential, and fostering creativity and relaxation.
