To celebrate National Poetry Month, River Arts presents a selection of poetry written by the Poetry Clinic at River Arts. This exhibition is currently on display at the Morrisville Post Office and will be installed until late May.

The Poetry Clinic has been meeting on the first and third Tuesday of every month for 11 years. The clinic began as a twice-a-month poetry writing class in January 2010 with Julia Shipley, and we just never stopped. Each week, a different member of the open group brings a prompt, and we all write a poem based on that prompt between 6 and 7 pm. From 7 to 8 pm, we share what we have written, and offer each other creative and constructive critiques. We have published three poetry compilations and always welcome new attendees. 

The Morrisville Post Office is located at 16 Portland Street in Morrisville, VT.  Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00a.m. - 4:30p.m. and Saturdays 9:00a.m. - 12:00p.m. River Arts, a nonprofit organization dedicated to enriching the community through the arts, is located in Morrisville, VT.
