Join us for this month's Sip N' Slurry class and discover your passion for clay with an unforgettable evening of hand-building exploration and fun. Led by different ceramic instructors, each with their unique techniques and styles, every session offers an opportunity to learn something new and exciting.
Our Tuesday afterschool class will embark on a journey of creative exploration, where students will learn to sketch and paint a magnificent mosaic collage of the natural wildlife that inhabits Vermont.
Budding ukulelists will have the opportunity to learn how to play the ukulele in a small group setting. Instructor Rachel Funk will incorporate various musical games, movement, and singing exercises to develop children's musicianship skills in a fun and engaging way.
As this is a community-facilitated group with no formal instructor present, it is the perfect opportunity to dedicate the time to develop your skills.
During this session, you will delve into the world of humor in art by playing with found objects. You will be introduced to the artwork of Hanoch Piven, an artist and maker who creates whimsical, inspiring, and meaningful faces using everyday objects.
Our talented artist Natalie Carr will be leading the class, where you will paint some funky chickens while learning her favorite acrylic painting techniques. Whether you're an experienced artist or a novice, Natalie will guide you through the process and help you create a beautiful masterpiece.
