Songwriters Camp

This creative camp incorporates music and creative writing for budding songwriters! Campers will learn tips and tricks for creating a song, including song structure, common chord progressions, and crafting expressive lyrics. These budding musicians will learn about music appreciation and listen to diverse music genres to inspire their creations! Campers are encouraged to bring their ukulele or guitar (if they have one) with the possibility of borrowing one for the week, as well as a communal keyboard on hand.

Drop Off Starts at 8:30am | Pickup is at 3pm.

Rachel Funk comes from a musical family and music has always played a vital role in her life. She has taught group and individual music lessons to children and adults for several years, and is currently an independent ukulele instructor in Lamoille County and beyond. She also teaches a weekly preschool music class at a local daycare center. She is a singer-songwriter who was called "One to Watch" by Nashville Songwriters Association International, and is a member of local band Take 5 and ukulele quartet The Ukuladies.
