This is a camp for nature explorers!  Instructor Sarah Hewit will focus on our connection to the natural world through hands-on identification and harvesting of plants and fungi. The mornings will be spent exploring, discovering, adventuring and harvesting along the river, in the meadow, and deep into the woods. The afternoons will be spent creating with materials that we collected in the morning as well as additional art materials. Projects will include sculpting with clay, weaving with wild grasses, and natural paint-making. Other projects will be determined by the interests and inspirations of the group. If you love the natural world and making art inspired by and with it, then this camp is for you!
