These adventurous young artists will expand their drawing skills as they learn to create art from our natural world. Campers will have a great time outside gathering materials and learn how to build a drawing from life including great tricks and lessons, like how to suggest movement or make a sketch look 3D!

Drop Off Starts at 8:30am | Pickup is at 3pm.

Rachel Sargent Mirus is a STEAM teaching artist and science writer. She trained in the life sciences, worked in research labs, earned a degree in museum studies, and ended up freelancing. Through all the switchbacks of life, her desire to share her enthusiasm for natural history through art, writing, and education never wavered. Artists and scientists both rely on observation and creativity to achieve excellence, skills that everyone can benefit from their whole lives.
