Stephanie, originally from New Jersey, was raised in Texas and has developed her career in the arts in various cities such as Dallas/Fort Worth, Austin, and the Greater Houston area. While her experience has primarily involved performing arts, including coaching speech teams, high school theatre, competitive cheer & tumbling, and professional Ballroom & Latin Dance instruction and choreography, she has also participated in several youth programs such as Girl Scouts of NE Texas Lonestar Summer Camp as Program Director and ongoing Troop Grand Prairie World Explorers Co-leader.

Over the past 14 years, she has owned and operated a Fred Astaire Dance Studio & Community Center where she further honed her teaching skills in the arts for both adults and youth. Currently residing minutes from the Gulf of Mexico, Stephanie is inspired to bring her love of the ocean to the youth of this landlocked state through the use of mixed media arts.

Her passion for the arts is obvious in her approach to teaching and her ability to inspire others. It is remarkable how she is able to combine both education and entertainment into her classes. It is evident that she is dedicated to enriching the learning experience of her students, both young and old. We look forward to seeing her continue to bring her creativity and expertise to the world of art education through River arts
