Art calms

Is a meditation

A prayer

A pause

A moment of feel/see

A release

A need..innate need to express

and Make Sense of the World

A voice/vision/hope

for something better

For all of us

I was taught to speak up

Speak out

Advocate for human rights

Art can do that too

Most often my focus has been of women-

honoring the strength and dignity of women.....
