Choose your own style—vintage, rustic, or modern geo-designs—and learn basic Sashiko stitches to bring your vision to life. Whether you're new to stitching or an experienced maker, this class is all about having fun and expressing your creativity through sustainable fiber art.
Carmella Cyr is a Vermont-based artist, instructor, and author with over 30 years of experience guiding adult learners—15+ of those dedicated to the arts. Known for her eclectic and eco-conscious approach, she specializes in historical and cultural fiber arts including Boro-Sashiko, Kiwandi, crochet, needle-felting, yo-yo quilting, and junk journaling. Carmella brings creativity, care, and a deep love for recycled materials to every workshop she leads, aiming to inspire makers of all levels to explore meaningful, sustainable art.
