Join amazing aerosol artist Jamal Reid to explore graffiti techniques, teaching campers how to take art from paper to large scale canvases, boards and walls. Campers will learn how to create letter styles and characters, choose color combinations, and transform mural ideas from simple drawings to elaborate paintings. These young artists will learn about a variety of hip-hop styles and the history behind street art that will inspire their own amazing creations!

Jamal Reid is an Aerosol Artist, DJ, MC and Hip Hop Educator who developed his craft in Washington, DC before settling in Vermont as a snowboard coach. As an Aerosol Artist/Educator he specializes in teaching how to draw in the Hip Hop style of “Graffiti,” and translate those drawings to large scale murals. He specializes in working with youth groups and community organizations to beautify buildings and create social impact.
