Campers will learn how to make and bake with their artwork! Instructor Rachel Lemay will help build skills in clay making with dishware and handbuilding that is cookable art.  Campers will also learn about ingredients, nutrition and cooking in our commercial kitchen.  They will have an amazing takeaway of cookware and a handmade cookbook of their creations!

Rachel Lemay (she/her) is an art and dance teacher based in Johnson, VT. Rachel received a Bachelor’s Degree in Art and Dance Education from NVU-Johnson in 2019, studying both art and dance as well as how to teach to students of all levels and abilities. A passion of Rachel’s is to reach every student in her classroom and make sure that all have access to personal creative expression and the arts. Most recently, Rachel was a Long Term Substitute Art Teacher at Hyde Park Elementary School, teaching throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. Rachel enjoys being outside, being active, and of course, making art!
