We are pleased to offer Lamoille County the opportunity to discover and explore the beauty of American literature, poetry, and water painting.

Our instructor, Yvette "Evie" Mason, is a beloved English teacher and watercolor artist who will guide you through twentieth-century literature and lead you through the works of iconic novelists like Ernest Hemingway and famous poets like Robert Frost. This course provides a unique opportunity to create a watercolor painting inspired by the literary masterpieces of the past.

Whether you are an experienced artist or just beginning, this class is designed to help you learn something new and have fun while doing so. We believe this class will provide an enriching experience for all those wishing to expand their knowledge and skills in the realm of American literature and painting.



ABOUT THE ARTIST

Evie Mason is a self-taught water color artist from Mud City in Morristown, VT. She has taught beginner watercolor classes at the Champlain Senior Center in Burlington and at Singing Wood farm in Morrisville. She is a regular vendor at the Morrisville and Craftsbury Farmers Markets where she sells original greeting cards, bookmarks, and gift tags.

She has had two shows at the Morristown municipal offices. Evie's art can be found at Rock Art gallery and in the gift shop at River arts. Evie's art is nature-inspired.
