Experience the charm of American literature, poetry, and watercolor painting with our brand-new class!

Our instructor, Yvette "Evie" Mason, is an English teacher and a watercolor artist who will guide you through the literature of the nineteenth century and introduce you to renowned poets such as Emily Dickinson and iconic novelists like Louisa May Alcott.

You will create a unique watercolor painting inspired by the literary masterpieces of the past. Whether you are an experienced artist or just starting out, this class is the perfect opportunity to learn something new and have fun while doing it!



ABOUT THE ARTIST

Evie Mason is a self-taught water color artist from Mud City in Morristown, VT. She has taught beginner watercolor classes at the Champlain Senior Center in Burlington and at Singing Wood farm in Morrisville. She is a regular vendor at the Morrisville and Craftsbury Farmers Markets where she sells original greeting cards, bookmarks, and gift tags.

She has had two shows at the Morristown municipal offices. Evie's art can be found at Rock Art gallery and in the gift shop at River arts. Evie's art is nature-inspired.
