River Arts opens A Celebration of Color, Light and Form in the Southwest, a photography exhibit by Sandra Shenk, March 5th through April 29th in the Common Space Gallery at the River Arts Center in Morrisville. There will be an opening reception on Thursday, March 5th, 5-7p.m.
A Celebration of Color, Light and Form in the Southwest is a collection of travel and infrared photography with an eye on discovering the abstract in nature and revealing the invisible light captured in infrared. Scenes include Death Valley, southwest Colorado and northern Arizona.
Sandra Shenk studied at the Rocky Mountain School of Photography in Montana and completed workshops with many accomplished photographers. She exhibits in galleries, stores and restaurants in northern Vermont including The Round Barn, Studio Place Arts and the Montpelier Arts Festival. She is a resident of Middlesex.
