Summer Camps Are Filling Up!
River Arts is closely following the Vermont Forward plan for reopening which means that some of our camps have expanded in capacity to 12 students from our original 10 student cap. We have great new opportunities for teens this summer with our half-day Podcasting Camp and our Social Entrepreneurship camp.
We never want a family to feel their child’s opportunity for enrichment is limited due to financial constraints. River Arts offers financial assistance at every level. To register for a camp using financial assistance click here.
COVID-19 NOTICE TO PARENTS:
With regards to the ongoing pandemic, all decisions will be made in accordance with federal, state, and local guidance including the CDC, OSHA, and the Vermont Department of Health. River Arts will maintain compliance with the governor’s guidelines regarding face masks, social distancing, public access, indoor and outdoor gatherings, etc.
Based on current guidance from the Vermont Forward plan, we've capped all of our camps at 10 participants, however, we may open up our enrollment depending on state guidelines and our community covid numbers for camps beginning after July 4th.
Our continued policy at River Arts is that anyone coming into the building must wear a mask at all times. We will be making an exception for lunch and snack time, and we hope that students will be able to eat outdoors weather permitting. We will require students and parents dropping off to sign in each day and answer health screener questions. We ask that if a member of your household is displaying symptoms of COVID-19 that your child stays home for two weeks or until a negative COVID test as per the recommendation of the Vermont Department of Health before returning to River Arts.
Maintaining River Arts as a safe space for our community is of paramount importance, so if you have any recommendations for how RA could improve our safety, please let us know.
