Kristina Snook describes her work stating, “These are not your Grandmother’s Quilts.” Indeed, upon first glance of Kristina’s work you are presented with whimsically designed textiles with a playful palette. Her work ranges in scale from more intimate pieces hung in a grid to large scale work that confronts the viewer with its complexity and softness. This juxtaposition of modernity with a traditional medium is not to be missed!

Downstairs in the Copley Gallery we have images by Photographers Workroom. This is a body of work that strings together the visual and interpersonal dialogue of a group of artists who found a way to remain inspired and connected through the pandemic. These works are hung in a narrative fashion and have striking visual cues that play off from one another, weaving the viewer into their stories and relationships.

Our opening event from 5:30 to 7:30 is a great chance to learn a bit more about the work from the artists directly. We will attempt at keeping this event as covid friendly by asking all participants to wear a mask at all times and monitoring capacity at the door. We will also pass on the traditional exhibition opening refreshments. So, join us for a lovely evening of art admiration and creative expression.
