Eco-Arts Camp Recap
Can you imagine a better week of fun than one filled with nature and art? Last week’s eco-art camp proved that they are the best combination!
Instructor Sarah Adelaide lead the week’s campers through the process of collecting materials outside including flowers, leaves, grass, pinecones, and even the occasional snail who hopped a ride into the baskets. Once they returned to the River Arts building campers started transforming their found materials into unique art. Some of the favorite projects from the week were nature weaving, sun-activated fabric dye, candle making, and nature jewelry.
With summer coming to an end, the eco-art camp gave campers the opportunity to use what nature has to offer, in new and unconventional ways! To see more photos from the week, CLICK HERE
