Registration is ongoing, and campers are admitted on a first come basis. Full payment must be received 2 weeks before camp begins.

Realizing that families have differing abilities to pay, River Arts has a voluntary 3-tier pricing program.
- Price A is our historically low rate, and does not reflect the true operating cost of camp.
- Price B more accurately accounts for our true costs.
- Price C is a slightly higher fee, helping us provide financial assistance to other families.
By choosing to pay a slightly higher fee, families can help us keep the cost of attending camp low.
This program is voluntary and in no way influences the experience children receive, yet it offers the opportunity for families to take an active role in supporting the true cost of their child’s camp experience. Financial assistance is available for those who qualify.
Refund Policy:
Please register for classes at least one week before the class is scheduled to begin.
For requests to drop a class – made at least 2 weeks prior to the first class – you may receive either:
- A 75% refund or
- You may apply the full amount to another class, good for one year.
A full refund will be given if River Arts has to cancel a class, or if you drop a class and find your own replacement.

Join our experienced skate and art staff for a fun week improving your skate board skills and creating cool street and skate art. Bonnie Kolber is psyched to work with you this August – including designing and painting your own skate deck, building a ramp… and more!

Arts Alive! Music, Fine Art & Performing Arts Camp – Summer

Come explore, create, paint, compose a drum groove, sing out & dance your socks off this summer with River Arts’ Music, Fine Art & Performing Arts Camp.
Our incredibly gifted faculty are very excited to have our campers help create this exciting journey through the Arts which will culminate with a multi-media presentation.
Directed by Dov Schiller, with Lynda Schiller, & Bonnie Kolber . This summer’s theme will be the Islands! Jamaica, Steel Drums and all that colorful material that accompanies that region & culture…

Come one! Come all! Improvisation, theater games, masks, movement, and puppetry are some of the elements we will explore at Drama Camp. Learn about developing a character, writing a script, and designing your own sets & costumes with Keefe Healy, Bonnie Kolber, & Suzanne Mackay. There will be a performance at the end of the week so mark your calendars and register soon!

Ages 5-8 years
Join Nadia Leon in a fun, creative Spanish immersion camp! Campers will learn Spanish songs & dances, create a piñata and play games … all in Spanish! At the end of the camp, each child will bring home a colorful book they made themselves, describing the things they learned at camp.
Bio: Senora Nadia Leon
Nadia Leon was born and raised in Venezuela, where she earned her B.A. in Education. With ten years of teaching experience, Nadia is passionate about sharing Spanish traditions and culture. She has taught Spanish to elementary students, teens & adults in Venezuela, Florida, and Vermont, where she currently resides.

Art Crush! “Messy Arts” Camp – Spring

Ages: 7-12 years
Join instructor Bonnie Kolber, and let your creative muse fly! Campers are encouraged to explore and discover their creative selves through a variety of artistic media. What is it like to paint large, using sweeping strokes with a wide brush? What can you make that moves, and is suspended in the air? What can be built and modeled from clay? Murals, mobiles, masks … and much more!

Breakdancing Workshop with Calvin Walker
Students will be introduced to toprock, footwork, freezes, and power moves which will serve as a foundation that leads to more complex maneuvers. Class will include relevant instruction on stretching and balance exercises.
