Drop in Watercolor Painting with Gabriel Tempesta

Every third Saturday of the month, 9-11am,

Drop in Watercolor -

Explore watercolors with visual artist, Gabriel Tempesta.  Drop in Saturdays offer an opportunity to refine your watercolor skill set or learn new techniques if you’re a beginner.  Bring a work in progress from home, your own reference material or just show up and see what happens!

Gabriel Tempesta grew up in Wolcott, VT and graduated from Montserrat College of Art in Beverly, MA with a BFA in Illustration in 2002.  After moving back to Vermont in 2005, he has worked commercially in illustration as well as in the fine arts.  Tempesta’s current residence is Craftsbury, VT which he shares with life partner, Margaret Pitkin, their two dogs, and one cat.

Ongoing: Cardmaking and Scrapbooking!

Every first Saturday of the month, 10-4pm

Drop-in and explore the art of card making and scrapbooking.  With input from the group, each session will have a different focus.    Instruction will be provided, including how to use the cricut personal cutting machine,  at the beginning of each session and participants will have time for creating cards and scrapbooking pages for the remainder of the class.  Paper, glues, ink, rubber stamps, ribbons, and other supplies will be available, but feel free to bring  supplies from home for yourself or to share. $5 donation suggested.

Ongoing: Poetry Clinic

Every 1st and 3rd Tuesday from 6-8pm

For those of you who use writing classes as a way to set aside special time for your writing practice: Here is an irresistible gift … a clinic to keep your pen and mind in motion. The first hour of the clinic will be devoted to generative poetry writing exercises; the second hour will be devoted to respectful critiques of work you bring to or make in class.

Every 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month, 6-8pm

Cost: $5.00 suggested donation

Tuesdays, 6-8:30pm – Canceled March 19th, 2013

Tuesdays, 6-8:30pm.  Figure Drawing with models. Participants work on their own and need to bring their own materials. All levels of expertise welcome!

Once every 6 weeks we will have a clothed model…that is, artistically clothed.
