Join Kati Furs, who runs Open Gym during the winter, for a first camp experience for younger children. Children have a chance to create beautiful art, participate in creative movement, games, nature walks, and have lots of fun each morning!

Create puppets, big and small, with puppet master Bonnie Kolber. Then carry them in the Morristown 4th of July parade (optional)!
On The Rise Fine & Performing Arts Camp July 12th -16thAges 7-14, 8:30 a.m – 4:30 p.m, $155
Animation, adventure, percussion, claymation, singing, painting, and the history, culture and art of Egypt… packed into one amazing week. On The Rise Art Camp is run by Dov Schiller -with help from other well known River Arts teachers. Please bring your lunch…
Asian Culture Camp July 26th- July 30thAges 6-14, 8:30 a.m – 1:30 p.m, $95
Explore the Far East while in Northern Vermont at the River Arts Center!
Learn about Thai Spirit Houses, Water Throwing Festivals, and the Chinese Calendar. Tie Chinese knots, do calligraphy, experience a tea ceremony, learn stories and myths from Asia.
We’ll make different Asian snacks and drinks… but please bring a bag lunch to eat.
Ages 6-14, 9:00 a.m – 3:00 p.m, $165
Join Bonnie Kolber, Suzanne Mackay, and Keefe Healy for a week of improv games, mask making, music, movement, puppetry, and performance at the River Arts Center! Please bring a lunch.
Skate the Arts Camp August 9th -August 13thAges 6-14, 9:00 a.m-4:00 p.m, $185
Join us at the Johnson Skate Park for Skate the Arts!
Skate the Arts provides a week of skateboarding with coaching at the park and a unique introduction to “street art”, graphic design, deck design and mural painting. Students work to decorate their own skate deck (provided) and decorate the park itself. A creative, friendly environment mixing art and athletics. Free lunch is provided.
