Artist Statement:

“The first idea I had was to name my book ‘Patch work’ because I wanted it to represent a variety of different kinds of things. The back page is from a previous art class when we were experimenting with watercolors (gouache). I loved the colors and the pattern it created. The rest is still a work in progress.“
