The Neolithic World of Stone

Bob Manning will explore the neolithic monuments of Ireland and the United Kingdom, including Stonehenge, Avebury and New Grange. He will present photos and lead a discussion focusing on the questions- Why were they built?, Who built them?, and How were they built?.
This event is being held at The River Arts Center on Tuesday October 13th at 1:30. Admission is free. This event is part of the Osher Life Long Learning Institute’s Fall Lecture Series 2009 and is being sponsored in part by The Vermont Hummanities Council.
